When you need to convert cm to inches

How to convert cm to inches
One inch equals exactly 2.54 centimetres — a value fixed by the 1959 international yard and pound agreement, so the conversion factor carries no rounding error of its own. To convert, divide the number of centimetres by 2.54:
inches = centimetres ÷ 2.54
